Job Description
**Job Title:** Human Resources Business Partner **Role Summary:** Strategic HR partner supporting operational leaders to align people strategy with organizational goals. Focus on talent development, culture, and resolving complex employee relations issues. **Expectations:** 12-18-month contract; regional UK travel required. Minimum 40 hours/week. Proven HR expertise in unionized and non-unionized environments. CIPD-qualified. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with operations leadership to integrate people strategy into business objectives. - Lead organisational design, workforce planning, and change initiatives. - Oversee talent management, including succession planning and capability development. - Manage high-complexity employee relations cases and tribunal-level disputes. - Partner with Learning & Development to design training programs. - Foster inclusive, values-driven culture through wellbeing, engagement, and continuous improvement. - Provide guidance on performance management, compensation, and compliance. - Analyze HR data to inform decisions and improve productivity. **Required Skills:** - 3+ years’ HR generalist experience in operational/manufacturing/distribution sectors. - Expertise in union engagement, industrial relations, and collective negotiation. - Strong capability in resolving complex employee relations and tribunal cases. - Proficiency in talent management, culture development, and stakeholder communications. - Advanced analytical skills to interpret and apply HR metrics. - Experience supporting audits (internal/external/internal stakeholders). **Required Education & Certifications:** CIPD qualification (or equivalent). Degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
