Job Description
**Job Title** Application Support Engineer – Project **Role Summary** Ensure the reliability and availability of internal and client-facing applications while supporting data flows. Handle application incidents, automate repetitive tasks, onboard new clients, and bridge function between project build and production run. Work closely with business, IT and clients to keep operations running smoothly. **Expectations** - Entry‑level or strong interest in functional/technical application support, ideally in logistics/supply‑chain environments. - Proficient or developing proficiency in SQL. - Problem‑solver who proposes improvements. - Good communicator, team‑player, structured, curious, comfortable engaging varied stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities** - Diagnose and resolve Level 1–2 incidents; automate recurring tasks (e.g., SQL queries). - Manage incident lifecycle to closure, applying best practices. - Analyze recurring problems, create procedures, and action plans. - Onboard new clients: set up applications, provide functional/technical support, configure back‑office settings. - Support AMOA: participate in functional testing & validation, update documentation, ensure continuity from BUILD to RUN phases. **Required Skills** - Incident management and troubleshooting. - SQL fundamentals and ability to automate with queries/scripts. - Client onboarding and configuration via back‑office interfaces. - Documentation and process improvement. - Cross‑functional communication (project teams, clients, operations). - Structured, analytical, proactive, teamwork orientation. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. - ITIL Foundation or similar service‑management certification preferred (optional).
