**Job Title** Business Development Representative – Expert Commercial Prospecting **Role Summary** Generate and qualify new business from prospect lists for a promotional marketing services firm. Conduct outbound call and email campaigns, secure qualified meetings, manage leads within the CRM, and continually refine the sales pitch. **Expectations** - 2–3 years in sales or related roles, preferably in promotional marketing or incentive programmes. - Proven hunter mindset with ability to build or grow a pipeline independently. - Familiarity with CRM systems and prospecting/automation tools. - Autonomous, quick learner, creative, determined and resilient. - Strong communication skills and ability to articulate value to C‑level and decision‑makers. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Identify and research potential leads aligned to target market. 2. Qualify prospects using defined criteria and score them for sales readiness. 3. Lead and coordinate outbound telephone and email campaigns, following a structured cadence. 4. Arrange and confirm qualified appointments for senior sales or account management teams. 5. Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records in the CRM, including all touchpoints and activity notes. 6. Collaborate with Key Account Managers to refine messaging, share insights, and contribute to continuous improvement of the sales pitch. 7. Track and report on key metrics (calls, emails, appointments set, conversion rates). **Required Skills** - Excellent cold‑calling and email outreach techniques. - Lead generation, qualification, and pipeline management. - Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent) and prospecting tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, HighLevel). - Strong written and verbal communication, with persuasive storytelling ability. - Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and resilient in a fast‑paced environment. - Analytical mindset to interpret data and adjust tactics. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Any certifications in sales methodology (e.g., SPIN, MEDDIC, or similar) are advantageous.
