Job Title: Director of IT
Role Summary:
Lead the organization’s technology strategy, infrastructure, security, and digital transformation initiatives to align with business objectives. Manage a high‑performing IT team, budget, vendors, and compliance to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable technology operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute a multi‑year IT strategy integrated with business goals.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team; oversee hiring, training, performance reviews, and succession planning.
- Manage the annual IT budget, forecasting capital and operating costs and optimizing spending.
- Direct enterprise‑wide IT projects: scope, planning, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and post‑implementation reviews.
- Design, deploy, and maintain networks, servers, storage, and application environments; drive cloud adoption and modernization.
- Implement and maintain robust information security policies, incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
- Cultivate vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, monitor service levels, and ensure compliance with SLA agreements.
- Ensure IT operations meet applicable legal, regulatory, and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
- Engage stakeholders across the organization to understand needs, communicate progress, and promote technology literacy.
Required Skills:
- Strategic leadership with proven ability to translate business objectives into technology solutions.
- Extensive experience in enterprise architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Advanced project management skills (PMP/Agile/PRINCE2) and budget administration.
- Vendor management, contract negotiation, and performance oversight.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
- Change management expertise for leading digital transformation initiatives.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Professional certifications: PMP, ITIL, CISSP, or equivalent in project, service, or security management.
