Job Description

**Job Title**: Accounts Receivable Assistant **Role Summary**: Maintain sales ledger for residential/retail property portfolio, ensuring accurate payment processing, discrepancy resolution, and debt collection. Support finance team operations with administrative and reporting tasks. **Expectations**: Demonstrated proficiency in accounts receivable processes, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. **Key Responsibilities**: - Process cash, card, bank transfer, and direct debit transactions. - Investigate payment discrepancies, billing disputes, and resolve issues. - Manage failed direct debits, refunds, deposit returns, and ledger adjustments. - Support tenancy transitions (renewals, terminations, changes) with interdepartmental coordination. - Administer rent increases, ad hoc billing, and recharge charges. - Generate routine financial reports; provide support during high-volume periods. - Execute general accounts receivable tasks as needed. **Required Skills**: - 1+ years’ experience in accounts receivable or finance. - Proficiency in Excel; Yardi system experience preferred. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Pursuing AAT or ACCA qualifications, or 18–24 months prior experience in accounts receivable (if not certified).
