Job Description
**Job Title** General Manager (H/F) **Role Summary** Lead all hotel operations—guest services, food & beverage, housekeeping, mechanical & electrical, and maintenance—while driving financial performance and ensuring a premium guest experience. Act as the operational backbone, team leader, and commercial advocate for the property. **Expectations** - Deliver profitable operation with disciplined budget management. - Maintain service standards that align with 4‑ or 5‑star expectations. - Foster a collaborative, high‑performing team culture. - Represent the hotel to partners, local stakeholders, and corporate headquarters. **Key Responsibilities** - Oversee day‑to‑day operations across all departments, ensuring seamless service delivery. - Manage revenue, cost controls, and profitability targets; prepare and oversee the annual budget. - Implement and continuously improve operational processes and quality standards. - Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and front‑line staff. - Drive commercial initiatives: marketing partnership, revenue‑generation projects, and business development. - Serve as the primary liaison between the hotel, external partners, and corporate headquarters. - Ensure compliance with health & safety, regulatory, and brand standards. **Required Skills** - Proven experience in general management or executive operations at 4‑star or multi‑activity hotels. - Strong operational acumen with a focus on process optimisation. - Visionary leadership, strategic thinking, and team‑building abilities. - Excellent interpersonal and customer‑service orientation. - Financial literacy: budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis. - Ability to manage change and drive continuous improvement. - Multilingual options appreciated (English required; additional languages a plus). **Required Education & Certifications** - Degree or diploma from a recognised hospitality institute (e.g., Vatel) or equivalent. - Minimum of 15–20 years progressive senior management experience in high‑end hotel operations. - Certifications in hotel management, financial management, or related disciplines are desirable.
