Job Description
**Job Title** Director of Sales & Marketing (DSM) **Role Summary** Lead the company's sales and marketing functions to achieve revenue targets for accommodation and F&B. Manage a commercial team, develop market‑driven strategies, and integrate cross‑functional operations to maximize profit and customer satisfaction. **Expectations** - Grow revenue and market share across all hospitality segments. - Drive high levels of team performance and professional development. - Build a data‑driven culture that informs forecasting, budgeting, and sales tactics. - Strengthen brand awareness through partnerships, PR, and digital initiatives. **Key Responsibilities** - Design and execute comprehensive sales plans for lodging, events, and dining. - Negotiate key accounts, loyalty contracts and corporate partnerships. - Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to refine strategy. - Produce weekly/monthly/quarterly performance reports and adjust forecasts. - Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales managers, coordinators and support staff. - Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Marketing, and PR to align objectives and resources. - Manage the annual budget, including revenue projections and expense controls. - Represent the brand at industry events, conferences and media engagements. - Oversee digital presence and social media to enhance online reputation. **Required Skills** - Proven experience (≥5 years) in hospitality sales/marketing, ideally in a hotel environment. - Strong leadership, coaching and team‑building capabilities. - Expertise in B2B and B2C prospecting, negotiation and closing. - Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Opera, Salesforce) and MS Office. - English – professional proficiency; French language required. - Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and stakeholder‑management skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing or related field. - Industry certifications (e.g., CIM, Certified Hospitality Sales Executive) preferred. - Experience with Hyatt systems and processes is a plus.
