We automate the human gestures in any given situation with a view to improving productivity within industrial, environmental, or food industry applications. Siléane offers a collection of standard, turnkey, and fully customisable solutions (Rovaldy, Flowpick, and Kamido) or a highly imaginative ‘grey matter zone’ (outsourcing your R&D department). Job Description
Job Title: Software & Vision Developer Role Summary: Design, develop, and integrate computer vision and software solutions for high‑performance industrial machines, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and compliance with stringent regulatory standards. Expectations: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, strong background in computer vision, optics, and industrial automation, proven ability to deliver end‑to‑end solutions from concept to customer deployment. Key Responsibilities: - Select and evaluate optical hardware, lighting, and filtering components for vision systems. - Model and implement measurement and vision data pipelines. - Design vision system architecture, lighting, and filter strategies. - Develop and maintain software applications and vision algorithms (image processing, CAD/CAM integration). - Define overall IT architecture for machine control and data flow. - Integrate, test, and optimize machine performance, including vision‑hardware calibration. - Conduct comprehensive system tests and validate performance against specifications. - Finalize machines and oversee customer commissioning, including documentation and knowledge transfer. - Perform scientific and technological research, prototype new solutions, and evaluate emerging technologies. - Travel to client sites (10–30 %) to support installation and commissioning phases. Required Skills: - Proficiency in Python, C# and related development frameworks (TDD, DDD). - Deep knowledge of image processing algorithms, optics, and industrial vision hardware. - Experience with machine‑control systems, PLCs, and SCADA integration. - Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex vision and software issues. - Excellent written and verbal communication; documentation of technical specifications, installation instructions, and test reports. - Proactive, innovative mindset with capacity to propose solutions that meet project goals. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field. - Certifications in computer vision, industrial automation, or related domains are an advantage.
