Job Description
Job title: Cyber Security Manager Role Summary: Leads end‑to‑end cybersecurity risk assessment, maturity evaluation, and implementation of security controls for a portfolio of clients, while shaping governance frameworks and providing strategic guidance to senior stakeholders. Expectations: • Minimum 5 years of experience in technology or security roles. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct cybersecurity maturity and risk assessments and deliver strategy, metrics, and board‑level reporting. • Design, implement, and maintain security controls across MDR, IAM, network, and cloud environments. • Develop, document, and operationalise risk management frameworks, including policies, procedures, and risk registers. • Advise on cybersecurity governance, policy, standards, and awareness training. • Apply hands‑on technical expertise in system administration, network design, and security analysis to strengthen client defences. • Mentor and develop junior team members. Required Skills: • Security risk assessment and maturity analysis. • Implementation and management of MDR, IAM, network, and cloud security controls. • Development of risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures. • Strategic thinking with board‑level communication. • System administration and network design expertise. • Strong written and verbal communication. • Team leadership and mentorship. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field OR equivalent professional experience. • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) preferred.
