Job Description
**Job Title** Purchase Manager (H/F) **Role Summary** Support the Product Manager by planning, sourcing, negotiating, and delivering products while collaborating closely with styling, design, merchandising, and supply‑chain teams. Act as the key liaison between internal stakeholders and international suppliers to optimise product life‑cycle and sales performance. **Expactations** - Deliver high‑quality product sourcing and cost optimisation. - Ensure accurate and timely purchase decisions align with product life‑cycle plans. - Maintain strong supplier relationships and manage international negotiations. - Analyze sales data and propose actions to increase sales of assigned product families. **Key Responsibilities** - Define product life‑cycle curves with the Product Manager to optimise purchase quantities. - Execute purchasing and international negotiations within the approved framework. - Compile, communicate, and implement purchase decisions. - Place orders, track shipments, and guarantee product arrival in stores. - Analyse sales results; recommend improvement actions. - Collaborate with Merchandising, Supply Chain, Designer, and Modeler. - Serve as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding the product line. **Required Skills** - Strong organization, precision and a quantitative mindset. - Proven negotiation skills, especially in an international context. - Effective supplier relationship management. - Excellent written and spoken English. - Comfortable with digital tools and daily use of AI solutions. - Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Bac+4/5) from a Business School or equivalent. - Prior experience in a similar purchasing role; retail experience is a plus.
