Job Description

Job Title: EDI Analyst Engineer Role Summary: Lead the integration and management of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) for orders between the group and its customers and suppliers. Coordinate with the EDI and IT teams to ensure seamless daily operations, troubleshoot incidents, upgrade systems, and develop new EDI mappings and components. Expectations: - Manage bi-directional data exchanges with external trading partners. - Maintain operational integrity of EDI stations, including tool performance checks and incident resolution. - Design, develop, test, and deploy EDI components and mappings in collaboration with IT. - Coordinate version releases, system upgrades, and production deployments. - Communicate and collaborate closely with the EDI portfolio manager and IT Service Desk. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and verify the functionality of EDI tools and stations. - Investigate and resolve technical and functional anomalies. - Lead the upgrade and replacement of EDI solutions. - Analyze client EDI requests and translate them into technical specifications. - Design and implement EDI mappings and related software components (Java). - Develop and execute unit tests for new components. - Support production releases and version roll‑outs with the IT team. - Collaborate with EDI and IT stakeholders to maintain system coherence and service continuity. Required Skills: - Strong knowledge of ERP systems and industry EDI standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT). - Programming in Java and SQL database experience. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. - Project management fundamentals. - Fluent in English; additional proficiency in German or Spanish is a plus. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. - Relevant certifications in EDI or ERP integration preferred.
