Job Description
**Job title:** Finance Manager **Role Summary:** Lead financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and policy development for a growing construction company; report directly to the Financial Director and present financial insights to the board. **Expactations:** Deliver accurate, robust accounting information, maintain P&L integrity, manage reconciliations, and support strategic decision‑making; oversee a team of 6 finance staff and uphold high standards of financial control. **Key Responsibilities:** • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements • Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses for board presentations • Establish and enforce internal financial policies, procedures, and controls • Manage team performance, training, and development • Conduct P&L and balance‑sheet reconciliations and audit coordination • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management and the board **Required Skills:** Strong financial analysis and reporting, P&L management, account reconciliation, budgeting, forecasting, staff leadership, effective communication with board & stakeholders, knowledge of construction finance (desirable), proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and MS Office. **Required Education & Certifications:** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional qualification such as ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA, or equivalent preferred.
