Expert Kubernetes (H/F)

Job Description

Job Title: Kubernetes Expert Role Summary: Architect, deploy, maintain, and optimize high‑availability, secure, and scalable Kubernetes clusters for a sovereign data‑center environment. Lead on‑prem and cloud‑native projects, including the next‑generation PaaS and sovereign AI services. Expectations: Deliver resilient Kubernetes infrastructure that meets stringent security and compliance standards. Manage incidents, contribute to on‑call rotations, and continually enhance operational processes. Drive architectural evolution and adopt emerging open‑source technologies to support the company’s sovereign digital strategy. Key Responsibilities: * Design and build highly available, secure, and scalable Kubernetes clusters. * Scale compute resources and hyper‑converged storage, ensuring GPU/CPU performance using Ceph where applicable. * Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab), infrastructure as code (Ansible, Puppet, Foreman), and deployment automation. * Respond to incidents, participate in on‑call schedules, and improve incident management procedures. * Collaborate with engineering teams on new PaaS and sovereign AI solutions. * Lead technical projects, interface with internal and external stakeholders, and mentor junior team members. Required Skills: * Kubernetes installation, configuration, and administration; cluster lifecycle management. * Linux (Debian/Ubuntu) and stack open‑source technologies. * CI/CD tooling (GitLab) and infrastructure automation (Ansible, Puppet, Foreman). * On‑prem infrastructure security best practices. * Knowledge of Ceph distributed storage (preferred). * Strong problem‑solving, communication, and team collaboration. * Project leadership experience with clients or cross‑functional teams. Required Education & Certifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience. * Kubernetes certifications (CKA/CKAD) preferred.
