Job Description
Job title: Analytics and Insights Intern Role Summary: A 10‑week, full‑time internship focused on contributing to production‑grade data science projects. Interns will support propensity modeling, time‑series forecasting, data pipeline development, and application integration, while learning the company’s analytics operations and participating in a Capstone presentation to executive leadership. Expectations: - Work remotely and in office per the hybrid schedule, maintaining professional conduct and confidentiality. - Complete tasks assigned by supervisors and meet project milestones. - Attend team meetings and internship program events. - Deliver a Capstone project and final executive presentation. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze company processes relating to data analytics systems. - Assist in building and refining propensity and forecasting models. - Develop and maintain data pipelines and integrate models into production workflows. - Support application development for connecting models to data flows. - Conduct research, compile documentation, and contribute to project deliverables. Required Skills: - Programming: Python, R, SQL; Linux environment. - Cloud: Google Cloud Platform (Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL). - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Detail‑oriented, organized, able to multitask in a fast‑paced setting. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and exhibit professional demeanor. Required Education & Certifications: - Current enrollment as a junior or senior in Analytics, Computer Science/Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or a quantitative science field. - Cumulative GPA ≥ 3.0. - Anticipated graduation between December 2025 and July 2026. - Willingness to relocate for the internship period (June 9–August 15).
