Job Description
Job Title: Security Engineering Intern (Cybersecurity) H/F/X Role Summary: A 6‑month internship focused on supporting the corporate Cybersecurity team. The intern will improve vulnerability management, aid incident response, develop KPI dashboards, and perform targeted security tests under the guidance of a dedicated expert. Expectations: - Demonstrate initiative, independence, and a collaborative attitude. - Maintain and enhance system security requirements to support operational development. - Communicate findings clearly and participate proactively in cross‑functional projects. Key Responsibilities: - Optimize the vulnerability management lifecycle (detection, analysis, remediation) for exposed internal and external environments. - Assist in the investigation, impact assessment, and remediation planning of cybersecurity incidents. - Design and deploy dashboards and KPI reporting to monitor the security posture. - Prepare and execute targeted penetration tests or technical audits on predefined scopes. - Ensure compliance with security standards, regulations, and GDPR throughout deliverables. Required Skills: - Proficiency with Kali Linux, Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Azure, and LAN/WAN networking. - Practical experience with vulnerability management tools, incident response procedures, and security testing methodologies. - Strong analytical and proactive problem‑solving abilities. - Professional level English communication. - Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Required Education & Certifications: - Current or recent completion of a Master’s level (Bac+5) program in Cybersecurity. - Relevant certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent are preferred.
