Job Description
Job title: Solutions Engineer Role Summary Support the commercial team by providing technical pre‑sales expertise, engaging with senior technology decision‑makers, and delivering tailored platform demonstrations that drive deal closure for mid‑market and enterprise customers. Expectations - Transition from a software engineering background into a customer‑facing solutions role. - Actively contribute to pipeline generation and closing, with a focus on revenue impact. - Work in a fast‑paced, high‑growth SaaS environment and collaborate closely with sales, product, and customer success teams. Key Responsibilities - Partner with sales reps throughout the pre‑sales lifecycle: discovery, solution design, proposal, and close. - Conduct technical discovery sessions with CTOs, Heads of Engineering, and Delivery Leaders to understand customer environments and pain points. - Design and present customer‑centric demos that align the AI‑augmented performance platform with business objectives. - Translate complex technical requirements into clear, value‑driven solutions. - Collaborate with product and customer success to ensure deliverables meet customer needs and support long‑term value. Required Skills - 2–4 years of experience in SaaS or technical environments, preferably with pre‑sales or solution consulting exposure. - Strong software engineering foundation and ability to build and explain technical architectures. - Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior technical stakeholders. - Analytical mindset to assess complex technical landscapes and translate them into business value. - Self‑motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a growth‑focused, results‑driven team. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent professional experience). - No mandatory certifications; relevant SaaS or solution‑sales certifications are a plus but not required.
