**Job title:** Solution Architect
**Role Summary:**
Design and deliver end‑to‑end Azure‑based technology solutions for a large‑scale digital transformation program. Own the solution lifecycle from gathering requirements to final delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
**Expectations:**
- Lead architectural design and decision making for complex cloud solutions.
- Bridge business, technical, and stakeholder teams to translate requirements into scalable, secure, and cost‑effective Azure deployments.
- Ensure solutions meet performance, reliability, and compliance objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement of architectural practices and documentation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct requirement analysis and derive system architecture models.
- Create detailed design documents, architecture diagrams, and data flow specifications.
- Select appropriate Azure services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and integrate with on‑premises or multi‑cloud environments.
- Review and validate design against security, governance, and cost‑optimization policies.
- Collaborate with DevOps, security, and data teams to develop deployment pipelines and monitoring strategies.
- Provide technical guidance during development, testing, and deployment phases.
- Facilitate solution demos and stakeholder reviews.
- Capture lessons learned and contribute to best‑practice libraries.
**Required Skills:**
- Proven experience designing Azure cloud solutions (compute, networking, storage, AI, analytics).
- Strong knowledge of digital transformation principles and cloud migration strategies.
- Experience with architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, Microservices).
- Ability to author architecture artifacts (UML, ArchiMate, cloud architecture documents).
- Familiarity with security controls, identity management, and governance in Azure.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification (AZ‑303/304) and/or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
- Additional certifications in DevOps, security, or data platforms are a plus.
