Job Title: Software Engineer, Product
Role Summary: Deliver end‑to‑end product engineering for web, mobile, and backend components, focusing on reliable, data‑driven member and clinical experiences.
Expectations:
- Own feature lifecycle from design to post‑launch iteration.
- Collaborate with product, design, and clinical stakeholders to define clear technical plans.
- Write clean, test‑covered code and maintain robust observability.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and system reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, test, and deploy APIs, data models, and integrations for member journeys and clinical workflows.
- Build UI components in React consuming TypeScript‑based APIs.
- Ensure performance, graceful failure modes, and efficient queries.
- Instrument features with Mixpanel, maintain dashboards, and set alerts reflecting user outcomes.
- Participate in design reviews, RFCs, and code reviews, upholding engineering standards.
- Mentor peers and maintain documentation for readability and maintenance.
Required Skills:
- 4+ years professional software engineering experience in production environments.
- Full‑stack proficiency: TypeScript, React, Node/Express, MySQL, GCP, Terraform.
- Experience designing APIs, data schemas, and integrating third‑party services.
- Strong test‑driven development: unit, integration, and end‑to‑end testing.
- Familiarity with observability tools (Sentry, Mixpanel) and performance tuning.
- Ability to debug across the stack using logs, traces, and metrics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrated ownership, problem‑solving, and collaborative mindset.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent technical experience. (Certifications such as GCP Professional Cloud Architect or Terraform Associate are a plus but not mandatory.)
