Job Description
**Job Title:** Information Technology Support Engineer **Role Summary:** Provide frontline technical support in a corporate banking environment, troubleshooting end‑user issues across hardware, software, applications, networks, and mobile devices. Manage user accounts, email systems, and security permissions while maintaining documentation and asset inventory. **Expactations:** - 6‑month contract, 7‑hour day (07:00–15:00 or 11:00–19:00). - Bilingual in French & English (spoken & written). - Independent work in a fast‑paced, professional setting. - Timely incident resolution and accurate record keeping. **Key Responsibilities:** - First‑line troubleshooting for hardware, software, applications, network, and mobile devices. - Diagnose and resolve desktop, laptop, and mobile device issues. - Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and business applications. - Support corporate mobile devices (configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance). - Set up and manage user accounts, email systems, and security permissions. - Troubleshoot network connectivity and access issues. - Collaborate with cross‑functional IT teams on upgrades and system improvements. - Accurately document incidents, resolutions, and maintain hardware/software asset inventory. **Required Skills:** - Proven experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, or End‑User Computing. - Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows environments, business applications, and network connectivity. - Experience supporting enterprise‑level environments. - Excellent documentation and communication abilities. - Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, professional setting. - Fluency in French and English (both written and spoken). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. - Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator (preferred).
