Rack, stack, and secure servers, networking gear, and storage devices. 2. Read and interpret patching schedules; execute patching to precise standards. 3. Audit hardware and cabling in existing data centre environments. 4. Pull, terminate, and test Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, OM3/OM4, and OS2 structured cabling (copper and fibre). 5. Operate and troubleshoot OTDR, Fluke, network analyzers, and VFL testing equipment. 6. Participate in design of new data centre deployments and client‑specific requirements. 7. Support data centre migration projects, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity. 8. Identify and resolve faults using loss‑calculation and diagnostic tools. 9. Contribute to process optimisation and documentation standards. **Required Skills** - 4+ years structured cabling and patching experience. - 4+ years data centre operations experience (preferably DC Ops). - Proficiency in copper and fibre installation, termination, and testing. - Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic abilities with loss‑calculation equipment. - Knowledge of industry best practices for cabling installation and testing. - Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills. - Detail‑oriented, organized, punctual, and able to handle multiple tasks. **Required Education & Certifications** - Valid cabling certification: BICSI, CNCI, BTEC, City & Guilds, or equivalent. - Demonstrated technical knowledge in copper, fibre, and general data centre installations.
