Job Description
Job Title: Lead BI Developer Role Summary: Lead the design, development, and optimization of data intelligence solutions that underpin AI‑driven platforms and client analytics. Oversee end‑to‑end BI pipelines, data modeling, and dashboard creation across Azure services and Power BI. Collaborate with engineering, delivery, and client stakeholders to ensure scalable architectures, data quality, and actionable insights for public sector decision‑making. Expactations: - Deliver high‑quality, scalable BI solutions in a remote, cross‑functional team. - Maintain continuous improvement of BI processes, tools, and documentation. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to BI and analytics staff. - Align BI initiatives with AI transformation projects, ensuring data readiness for emerging AI capabilities. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement end‑to‑end BI solutions using Power BI, Azure Synapse, and related services. - Build, maintain, and optimize ETL pipelines with Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or Logic Apps. - Design data models, governance frameworks, and analytics architectures that scale. - Create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations to surface actionable insights. - Ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance with governance and regulatory standards. - Support AI projects with data analysis, telemetry, and performance tracking. - Provide pre‑sales demos, analytics proposals, and technical estimates. - Research, evaluate, and recommend emerging BI and AI tools and techniques. Required Skills: - 5+ years of business intelligence or data analytics development experience. - Strong proficiency in Power BI, Azure Synapse Analytics, and SQL‑based data solutions. - Experience in ETL development using Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or Logic Apps. - Deep understanding of data modeling, visualization, and governance principles. - Programming skills in Python or R for data manipulation and analytics. - Familiarity with AI‑integrated BI environments (Azure Fabric, Cognitive Services, OpenAI). - Excellent communication skills for translating technical insights to non‑technical audiences. Expectations: - Achieve aggressive quarterly sales targets and OTE incentives. - Consistently convert marketing‑qualified leads into signed contracts. - Build and sustain a robust enterprise pipeline covering entire local government accounts. - Influence senior decision‑makers (CIOs, customer service heads, social care directors) and manage complex, multi‑stakeholder procurement processes. - Demonstrate deep understanding of AI contact‑centre solutions and translate technical value into clear business outcomes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Convert marketing‑qualified leads into trial offers and sell through to contracted AI solutions. 2. Build, forecast, and manage a high‑volume enterprise sales pipeline for local government accounts. 3. Cultivate and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders across multiple government departments. 4. Deliver compelling product demonstrations and value‑based ROI proposals. 5.
