Job Description

Job Title: Python Developer Role Summary: Design, build, and maintain robust AWS-based APIs to deliver weather data and forecasts to web and mobile platforms, ensuring secure, well-tested code and operational reliability. Expectations: Deliver high-quality, scalable software that meets user needs and adheres to best practice guidelines; lead or mentor junior developers; actively troubleshoot production services and improve processes. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, test, and deploy cloud‑native software components on AWS using Python and CDK. - Write clean, secure, well‑documented code following established coding standards. - Operate and troubleshoot production services, ensuring high availability and performance. - Mentor junior team members and share knowledge on best practices. - Collaborate with stakeholders across all levels to refine requirements and provide technical guidance. - Continuously improve development processes, tooling, and documentation. Required Skills: - Proficient in Python programming and AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK). - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Experience designing and delivering AWS‑based software via APIs. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Self‑motivated, able to prioritize and lead development activities. - Familiarity with source control (Git) and Agile development practices.
