Job Description

Job Title: Azure Administrator Role Summary: Implement, manage, and monitor Microsoft Azure services for a medium‑sized organization, ensuring high availability, performance, and security while optimizing costs. Expactations: Deliver reliable Azure operations, maintain rigorous security compliance, automate routine tasks, support cross‑functional teams, and continuously improve cloud processes. Key Responsibilities: - Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure virtual machines, storage accounts, networking components, and related services. - Manage Azure Active Directory, including user accounts, roles, and access policies. - Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and diagnostic tools. - Design and implement backup, disaster recovery, and high‑availability solutions. - Enforce security best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards. - Automate work with PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates, and Service Desk integrations. - Collaborate with development and operations teams to support application deployments and ongoing operations. - Optimize resource utilization and control costs via Azure Cost Management tools. - Stay informed on Azure feature releases and recommend enhancements for efficiency and security. - Provide occasional on‑site support as project or operational demands arise. Required Skills: - Strong relationship and stakeholder management. - Project planning and governance. - Proven Azure Administrator experience or equivalent role. - Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. - Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks.
