Job title: Senior Platform Engineer / SRE
Role Summary: Leads design, deployment, and operation of production‑grade Kubernetes clusters, automates infrastructure, and drives DevSecOps practices to maintain stability and security of a global cybersecurity platform.
Expectations: Maintain high availability, improve observability, manage incidents, mentor junior teams, and adapt to scaling needs in a remote‑first, async environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, build, and operate Kubernetes clusters on bare metal and cloud.
• Industrialize and automate infrastructure with IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform).
• Implement and enhance observability stack (Grafana, Datadog, Prometheus).
• Own incident response: on‑call, incident handling, post‑mortem reviews.
• Lead DevSecOps projects, integrating network security, TLS, secrets, IAM/RBAC, and vulnerability management.
• Collaborate with software development and customer support teams.
• Mentor newcomers and promote a culture of service delivery excellence.
Required Skills
* 6+ years in SRE, platform, or cloud engineering.
* Strong Kubernetes, Linux, and IaC (Ansible, Terraform).
* Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
* Proficiency in observability stack (Grafana, Datadog, Prometheus).
* Familiarity with ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ, Redis, Minio/S3.
* Development language proficiency (Python, Go, or Java).
* Practical knowledge of infrastructure security: network security, TLS, secrets management, IAM/RBAC, vulnerability management.
* Excellent communication, ownership mindset, and collaborative team player.
* Passion for open‑source culture.
Required Education & Certifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical field.
* Optional: Kubernetes Security Certification (CKS) and/or prior infrastructure security experience preferred.
