**Job Title:**
Salesforce Order Management Technical Architect
**Role Summary:**
Architect and deliver end‑to‑end Salesforce Lightning Order Management (SLOM) solutions that integrate with downstream fulfillment, shipping, returns, refunds, payments, and customer visibility systems. Act as a technical and functional authority guiding architecture decisions, integration strategies, and cross‑functional delivery.
**Expectations:**
- Design scalable, enterprise‑grade order lifecycle systems that meet functional and performance requirements.
- Lead integration and deployment of SLOM, ensuring reliability and maintainability across commerce, service, and operations teams.
- Provide mentorship on best practices, code quality, and architecture governance.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Own solution architecture for order capture, orchestration, fulfillment, and post‑order processes within Salesforce Lightning Platform.
- Define and enforce data model standards, integration patterns, and Apex/Flow logic for order lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with Salesforce Commerce (B2C/B2B), payment gateways, shipping carriers, and ERP systems to design seamless data flows.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using SFDX, Git, and automated testing to support continuous delivery.
- Evaluate and recommend tooling, platform enhancements, and third‑party add‑ons to meet functional needs.
- Conduct solution reviews, technical design approvals, and code reviews to ensure adherence to architecture guidelines.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to development, Ops, and business stakeholders.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and propose long‑term improvements for high‑volume post‑order operations.
**Required Skills:**
- 5–10+ years of Salesforce experience with 3+ years in Salesforce Order Management.
- Deep knowledge of SLOM data model, order orchestration, and fulfillment patterns.
- Expert in Apex, Lightning Flow, integration patterns (REST, SOAP, Streaming, Heroku, middleware).
- Proficient with SFDX, Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and version control best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent industry experience).
- Salesforce certifications: Order Management Specialist, Application Architect, or Technical Architect (preferred).
- Experience with Salesforce Commerce and dynamic post‑order systems is desirable.
