Job Description
**Job Title:** Network Team Lead **Role Summary:** Lead a global network operations team delivering LAN, WAN, firewall, and internet services. Ensure high‑quality, compliant service delivery, manage resources and workloads, drive continuous improvement, and apply Agile practices to balance BAU, backlog, and project tasks across multiple time zones. **Expectations:** - Provide strong people leadership and performance management. - Maintain service level targets and mitigate operational risks. - Facilitate effective communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders. - Champion Agile ways of working and process improvement. **Key Responsibilities:** - Oversee daily team activities, allocate work based on skills and capacity, and conduct regular 1:1s. - Monitor SLAs/KPIs, enforce security, change, and operational compliance. - Manage escalations and resolve complex workload issues. - Lead Agile ceremonies (stand‑ups, planning, retrospectives) and prioritize tasks for iterative delivery. - Drive continuous service quality improvement and oversee change implementations. - Identify risks, develop mitigation actions, and report status to stakeholders. - Serve as primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear, consistent communication. **Required Skills:** - Proven team leadership and people‑management experience. - Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities. - Experience delivering BAU and small projects using Agile methodologies. - Ability to manage escalations, prioritize workloads, and work calmly under pressure. - Familiarity with global, distributed teams and multiple time zones. - Proficiency with Jira, ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Cherwell), and MS Office. - Solid understanding of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, firewalls) and cloud networking (desired). - Agile certifications (AgilePM, Scrum, SAFe) desirable. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Agile certification (AgilePM, Scrum Master, SAFe) preferred but not mandatory.
