Job Title: Lead Cloud DevOps Engineer
Role Summary: Lead the design, implementation, operation, and optimization of Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments, as well as on‑premises platform systems (Windows Server, RHEL, OEL). Deliver infrastructure-as-code, automate provisioning, govern cost and compliance, and manage a team of cloud engineers.
Expectations: Drive end‑to‑end cloud strategy, ensure high availability and security, deliver automated solutions with Ansible/Terraform, produce comprehensive documentation, and collaborate with cross‑functional IT teams to support business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, manage, optimize, and support Azure and OCI cloud environments (compute, services, database, cost/comppliance).
- Maintain the global on‑prem platform footprint of Windows Server, RHEL, OEL, and related services.
- Develop and deploy automation playbooks using Ansible, Terraform, and other IaC tools.
- Create, maintain, and audit documentation (policies, standards, processes, topologies, service records, DR/backup plans, training materials).
- Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers, managing assignments and performance.
- Partner with Enterprise IT Shared Services to provision new resources and technologies.
- Execute additional projects as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Proficient with Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (architecture, services, security, cost management).
- Experienced in Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Oracle Enterprise Linux environments.
- Strong automation skills with Ansible, Terraform, and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Ability to develop and maintain IaC, configuration-as-code, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid understanding of compliance, risk management, and disaster recovery processes.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years related experience **or** High School Diploma/general education degree with 7+ years of specific experience.
- Industry certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Expert, Ansible Certified Engineer, Terraform Associate) are desirable but not mandatory.
