Job Description
**Job Title** Development Operations and Communications Manager **Role Summary** Lead daily digital operations, marketing, and communication efforts for a nonprofit foundation. Drive content management, social media, CRM stewardship, and grant program administration while supporting fundraising initiatives and events. **Expectations** - Deliver consistent and brand‑aligned digital content. - Maintain accurate donor and grant data. - Collaborate with leadership on campaigns and events. - Contribute to program quality, safety, and ethical standards. **Key Responsibilities** - • Manage the foundation’s website (CMS updates, blog, multimedia). - • Create and execute a social media calendar; produce posts, graphics, and stories for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others. - • Monitor analytics, reporting, and adjust strategies. - • Oversee Virtuous CRM: data entry, segmentation, reporting, and donor stewardship. - • Administer grant management software: application review, award tracking, reporting. - • Produce press releases, newsletters, pitch decks, brochures, and event collateral. - • Support event planning: banquets, presentations, auction guides, and multimedia content. - • Coordinate with the Executive Director on campaigns and fundraising activities. - • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and integrity standards. **Required Skills** - • Proficiency with WordPress or equivalent CMS. - • Social media channel management experience. - • CRM proficiency; Virtuous preferred. - • Graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite). - • Strong written and verbal communication. - • Project management, organizational, and multitasking abilities. - • Ability to work within environmental health and safety protocols. **Required Education & Certifications** - • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, nonprofit management, or related field. - • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, website management, or nonprofit communications (or equivalent education‑experience mix). ---
