Job Description
Job title: Data Automation Engineer (AI Enablement) Role Summary: Design, build, and maintain automated, secure, and scalable Azure data pipelines and platform components that deliver AI‑ready datasets and support analytics, reporting, and AI use cases across the organization. Expectations: * Deliver end‑to‑end cloud native data solutions that meet performance, reliability, and security standards. * Lead AI/ML initiatives and integrate LLM use cases into data workflows. * Optimize pipelines continuously, applying AI‑driven automation where appropriate. Key Responsibilities: * Architect and implement Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and other integration tools to ingest, transform, and deliver data. * Create and maintain high‑quality data models in DWH and Lakehouse environments. * Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance daily data operations, enforcing data governance, lineage, masking, and encryption. * Improve pipeline performance, observability, and automated preventive controls. * Contribute to platform CI/CD, orchestration, and scheduling for AI‑ready foundations. * Evaluate and adopt new technologies and automation opportunities to advance the data strategy. Required Skills: * Advanced SQL and Python for optimized querying over large datasets. * Expertise in Azure data services (Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, etc.). * Experience with data integration patterns, system architecture, and cloud native solutions. * Knowledge of AI/ML pipelines, including LLM integration. * Agile development experience (Scrum, Kanban, Lean). * Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Required Education & Certifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Data Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). * Professional certifications in Azure Data Engineering (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate) preferred.
