Job Description
Job title: Assistant Buyer, Social Role summary Support the media team in planning, launching and optimizing paid social campaigns. Manage campaign trafficking, billing, and reporting while collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders to achieve client KPIs. Expectations * Behave as a dependable, detail‑oriented teammate who can quickly produce high‑quality work. * Demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills across account services, strategy, creative and analytics teams. * Proactively track emerging social‑media trends and suggest opportunities for client growth. * Maintain a deep understanding of media performance data and translate insights into actionable optimizations. Key responsibilities * Assist in developing tactical media plans, including audience, creative and channel selection to meet campaign goals. * Coordinate media trafficking and billing with internal teams and external partners. * Create and submit RFPs for social media partners and evaluate recommendations. * Activate paid social campaigns on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and emerging channels (e.g., Thread, Lemon8). * Provide input on placement naming conventions, trafficking strategy, and flight schedules. * Produce performance reports, extract key insights and recommend optimizations. * Monitor media and marketing trends, share relevant industry content, and propose innovative solutions to accelerate client growth. Required skills * Minimum 1 year full‑time media experience or equivalent internship experience. * Solution‑oriented, inquisitive, persistent, detail‑driven, creative, and collaborative. * Strong verbal and written communication. * High energy with ability to deliver quality work quickly. * Proficiency in Excel and platform‑based performance dashboards. Required education & certifications * Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred. * Certifications in social media advertising platforms or digital marketing are a plus.
