Technical Architect – Archer
Role Summary
Design, implement, and maintain RSA Archer solutions to meet enterprise GRC objectives. Lead configuration, workflow customization, data integration, and user access management while ensuring alignment with risk frameworks and regulatory requirements. Serve as the technical liaison between business stakeholders, developers, and security teams during GRC initiatives, migrations, and enhancements.
Expectations
- Minimum 13 years of progressive experience in enterprise GRC architecture, preferably with RSA Archer 4.x/5.x.
- Demonstrated expertise in integrating Archer with external systems via APIs and SQL data pipelines.
- Strong command of risk management standards (NIST, COBIT) and familiarity with regulatory domains such as SOX, GDPR, and HIPAA.
- Proven analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a track record of delivering complex, data‑driven GRC solutions.
- Certified RSA Archer Professional (ACP) or equivalent is required; other GRC or cloud security credentials are a plus.
- Valid U.S. work authorization for contract assignment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Install, configure, and sustain RSA Archer applications and modules.
2. Design and implement custom workflows, dashboards, and event triggers to satisfy business and compliance needs.
3. Manage user roles, permissions, and access controls ensuring adherence to least‑privilege principles.
4. Develop, schedule, and monitor data feeds and API integrations with ERP, SIEM, and other enterprise systems.
5. Configure and optimize Archer reporting, including KPI and risk dashboards.
6. Collaborate with business owners, auditors, and technical teams to define GRC requirements and assess architectural impact.
7. Conduct workshops and provide technical guidance during GRC implementations, upgrades, and migrations.
8. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend enhancements.
Required Skills
- RSA Archer platform (4.x/5.x) – installation, configuration, customization.
- Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) concepts and frameworks.
- SQL for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
- API design and integration techniques (REST/SOAP).
- Risk management frameworks: NIST, COBIT.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ServiceNow GRC or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of SOX, GDPR, HIPAA regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and security best practices.
- RSA Archer Certified Professional (ACP) or equivalent GRC certifications.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security, or related field.
- RSA Archer Certified Professional (ACP) mandatory; other relevant GRC or cloud security certifications are advantageous.
