Job Description: **Job Title:** Full Stack Software Engineer (Contract to Hire) **Role Summary:** Develop, test, and maintain web and enterprise backend applications for a high‑traffic consumer brand platform. Collaborate across teams to deliver new features, optimize performance, and support production systems. **Expectations:** * Deliver clean, efficient code on schedule. * Act as a self‑starter, independently prioritizing tasks. * Communicate progress and technical decisions clearly to cross‑functional stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Design, develop, and test web and n‑tier backend applications. 2. Collaborate with product, design, and other engineering teams to define, design, and deliver new features. 3. Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve development efficiency and application performance. 4. Participate in design reviews, providing technical and UX input. 5. Optimize application performance, troubleshoot, and fix production bugs. 6. Provide production maintenance and support as required. **Required Skills:** * 5+ years of software development experience. * Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS/LESS. * Experience building React applications. * Java development with Spring (dependency injection) and Hibernate (ORM). * Strong understanding of RESTful services and JSON. * Familiarity with source control (Git). * Ability to translate UI design into functional product. * Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, capable of prioritizing and scoping work. **Required Education & Certifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). * No mandatory certifications required.
