Job Description: Job Title: Platform Engineer Role Summary: Design, build, and operate secure, scalable production environments on Kubernetes for enterprise API platforms. Drive reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of cloud infrastructure. Expectations: Deliver high‑availability, self‑healing environments while collaborating cross‑functionally and providing customer‑centric technical support. Key Responsibilities - Provision and manage Kubernetes clusters, Docker containers, and Helm releases. - Develop and maintain IaC pipelines using Terraform, Argo CD/Workflows, and Cloud‑provider APIs (AWS/Azure). - Resolve operational incidents, investigate root causes, and implement preventative measures. - Contribute to the NextGen Cloud platform architecture and feature roadmap. - Produce technical documentation, run internal TechTalks, and mentor junior engineers. - Continuously evaluate and adopt observability, CI/CD, and security tooling to enhance platform quality. Required Skills - 3+ years in infrastructure or platform engineering. - Deep expertise in Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Terraform, and IaC principles. - Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and CI/CD tooling (Argo, GitOps). - Familiarity with certificate management (Let’s Encrypt, ZeroSSL) and observability ecosystems (Prometheus, Grafana). - Strong problem‑solving mindset, attention to detail, and effective communication. - Commitment to knowledge sharing and continuous learning. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Kubernetes Certified Administrator (CKA) or equivalent is advantageous.
