Job title: Environmental Health Student Role Summary: Assist the Environmental Health Manager in delivering the Borough’s Environmental Health service, supporting activities that safeguard public health and compliance with legislation. Expectations: - Participate in the implementation of the Environmental Health Business Plan. - Identify information needs of businesses and residential communities. - Support staff during commercial and domestic property inspections. - Engage in the creation and delivery of training and information campaigns. Required Education & Certifications: - Current enrolment or recent completion of an accredited degree or diploma in Environmental Health, Public Health, Food Safety, or a related field. - Basic knowledge of UK environmental health regulations (e.g., Food Hygiene, Building Regulations). - Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development in environmental health practices.
