Senior SAP Domain Architect
Role Summary
Lead end‑to‑end SAP S/4HANA architecture for Record‑to‑Report (R2R), Quote‑to‑Cash (Q2C), and Master File/Finance (MFP) domains. Own solution design, integration, governance, and delivery of large‑scale, regulated sector transformations while translating senior stakeholder business needs into technical roadmaps.
Expectations
- 15+ years of hands‑on SAP implementation, specifically in R2R and Q2C.
- Experience leading at least one full‑lifecycle S/4HANA domain implementation and managing full/partial financial scope projects.
- Proven success in utilities, MRO, and publicly listed environments (Belgium or equivalent).
- Fluency in Dutch, French, and English (Dutch or French mother‑tongue or level C, other at B2; English at least B2).
- Minimum 2 days per week on‑site commitment.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect target and future‑state S/4HANA solutions aligned with global strategy.
- Own R2R (FI/CO, Group Reporting), Q2C (SD, Revenue Accounting), MFP (Business Partner, FICA) end‑to‑end design.
- Design robust integrations with external systems such as SAP C4C, Ariba, and utility‑specific FICA.
- Model enterprise architecture using ADOIT or ARIS; conduct analysis, governance, and compliance checks.
- Facilitate high‑level workshops with senior finance, procurement, and sales executives; translate business requirements into technical blueprints.
- Guide internal and external consulting teams on “to‑be” solutions and enforce architectural standards.
- Manage project delivery using ServiceNow, Jira, Xray, and SAP Solution Manager.
Required Skills
- Deep functional and configuration expertise in ECC and S/4HANA FI/CO, FICA, and related modules (MM, SD, PP, PM).
- Integration experience with SAP C4C, FICA, and Ariba in financial flows.
- Knowledge of broader financial solutions (treasury, consolidation, expense management, reporting).
- Proficient with enterprise architecture tools (ADOIT or ARIS).
- Strong project management methodology understanding; experience with ServiceNow, Jira, Xray, Solution Manager.
- Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills with senior business leaders.
- Ability to influence and lead SAP consultant teams toward future‑architected solutions.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business, or related field.
- SAP Certified Application Associate – S/4HANA (FI) or equivalent SAP certification preferred.
