About the Company

A special type of treat. We offer our consumers delicious snacks and seasonal specialities that are inspired by current trends, that are unique in the market or represent healthy alternatives. Snacking is one of the main trends in the entire food industry. This is especially true for the sweet and salty ranges. On the one hand, the new health awareness of consumers calls for low fat, low salt, low sugar and low calorie, non-fried or savoury snacks. On the other hand, the premium pampering segments both for hearty snacks and chocolate are also growing at an above average rate. The trend is clearly moving away from the crowd towards more class. In the snacking & Chocolate market unit, we develop companies and brands that offer products in the form of delicious snacks, chocolates or seasonal specialities. These are either inspired by current trends and unique in the market or represent a healthy alternative to traditional snacks. In the premium segment as well as with seasonal (gift) products we use our know how creativity to identify and benefit from new market opportunities. In close cooperation with out trading and licensing partners we rely on innovations in healthy nibbling and create free from chocolate as well as high quality snacks with nuts and fruit. Zertus UK&I collectively comprising of Humdinger Ltd, Kinnerton Confectionery and Lir Chocolates which operate across the UK and Ireland from 5 production facilities, alongside an innovation centre and warehousing facilities. With turnover of over £200m, we employ circa 1,300 colleagues. We're always seeking top talent to join our innovative team in the food industry.
