Job title: Commercial Sector Manager – GMS (Retail Trade)
Role Summary
Lead business development and client management within the Grande Distribution (GMS) sector across the Grand Est region. Drive growth by expanding and retaining a portfolio of hypermarkets, supermarkets, and specialized retailers, while crafting tailored commercial solutions and supporting the launch of new product lines.
Expectations
- Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in GMS‑related solutions (furniture, layout, equipment).
- Proven ability to influence high‑level decision makers and close deals.
- Strong understanding of GMS operational dynamics and market drivers.
- Tenacious, autonomous, result‑oriented, with a passion for design, aesthetics, and quality.
- Excellent relational skills, confident presentation, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and secure new accounts while cultivating existing client relationships.
- Design and negotiate customized offers in collaboration with design, production, and customer‑service teams.
- Manage projects end‑to‑end – technical, commercial, and administrative aspects.
- Propose and contribute to commercial strategy and product‑launch initiatives.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client visits.
