Job Description
**Job title** Communications Intern – European Energy Research Alliance (EERA) **Role Summary** Provide day‑to‑day support for EERA’s digital communication and outreach strategy. Draft website content, LinkedIn posts, and e‑mail marketing, create visual assets in Canva, and assist in performance tracking and KPI reporting. Work within an EU policymaking context and contribute to the visibility of low‑carbon energy research. **Expectations** - Produce clear, accurate content in English (C1 level or higher). - Demonstrate autonomous work ethic, initiative, and strong attention to detail. - Engage with EU policy stakeholders, researchers, and stakeholders in the clean‑energy sector. - Deliver high‑quality deliverables within agreed deadlines. - Contribute to ongoing refinement of digital communication practices and KPIs. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Draft, edit, and publish content on the EERA website. 2. Write and schedule LinkedIn posts for the EERA community page. 3. Support email‑marketing activities: monthly newsletters, event invitations, and follow‑ups. 4. Design visual communication materials using Canva. 5. Collect, analyze, and report on basic performance metrics (newsletter open rates, social reach, website traffic) to aid KPI monitoring. 6. Assist the Communications team with any ad‑hoc projects and reporting. **Required Skills** - Fluency in English (minimum C1); additional European language knowledge welcomed. - Solid written and verbal communication skills; proof of editing and drafting prior experience. - Basic digital communication knowledge: websites, social media, newsletters. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Mailchimp or similar mailing platforms, and Canva graphic design. - Strong attention to detail, organizational capability, and initiative. - Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate with a team. - Interest in low‑carbon energy research, sustainability, and EU policy environment. **Required Education & Certifications** - Master’s degree (or equivalent) in communication, languages, political science, European studies, or international relations. - Alternatively, equivalent professional experience in student roles or volunteer communication tasks. *All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the EU.*
