Job Description
Job Title: HR Business Partner Role Summary: Strategic HR partner delivering consulting, performance management, employee engagement, and relations support across a technology‑focused organization. Expectations: - Drive a performance‑driven culture and talent development. - Provide consultative HR advice to leaders at all levels. - Ensure compliance with employment law and policies. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with business units to align HR initiatives with organizational goals. - Manage performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and appraisal. - Coach and mentor managers on people management and leadership development. - Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and complex case management. - Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to attract, retain, and develop high‑potential talent. - Develop and recommend HR policies, procedures, and best practices. - Deliver HR analytics and insights to support decision‑making. - Manage multiple concurrent HR projects and high‑volume workloads. Required Skills: - 3+ years in a consultative HR Business Partner role within a technology or scaling organization. - Strong relationship‑building and communication skills with all organizational levels. - Proven conflict resolution and employee relations expertise. - Coaching and mentoring capabilities for managers and leaders. - In‑depth knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and compliance across multiple provinces. - Project management, organizational, and detail‑oriented mindset. - Ability to handle high‑volume workload and adapt to changing priorities. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field. - HR certification (SHRM‑CP/SHRM‑SCP, HRCI PHR/SPHR, or equivalent) preferred.
