Job Description

Job Title: Master Data – ERP Role Summary: Execute data cleansing, reconciliation, and migration tasks for engineering and manufacturing master data during a SAP S/4HANA implementation. Ensure high data integrity by collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams. Expectations: Deliver accurate, validated master data for ERP upload within a 15‑month contract. Produce documentation on best practices and support testing, training, and go‑live activities. Manage priorities independently while liaising across departments. Key Responsibilities: - Audit and reconcile engineering item master data across PLM, SolidWorks, and legacy ERP systems. - Identify and resolve discrepancies in BOMs, routings, ECNs, and work centers. - Prepare clean manufacturing item lists for SAP S/4HANA upload and define data templates. - Support mock data conversions, data quality issue resolution, and SAP validation routines. - Assist in testing, training, and go‑live activities related to master data. - Document and implement master data governance best practices. Required Skills: - Strong analytical and data analysis proficiency. - Familiarity with BOMs, routings, ECNs, and manufacturing documentation. - Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred). - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management tools. - Excellent collaboration and communication across cross‑functional teams. - Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities. Required Education & Certifications: - Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field. - 3–5+ years in an engineering environment or master data role. - Experience with PLM systems (e.g., SAP PLM) and CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred).
