Job Description
**Job Title** Cyber Security Specialist – Level 3 **Role Summary** Senior information security professional responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cyber‑defense solutions, monitoring security events, and leading incident response. Acts as escalation point and subject‑matter expert, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. **Expectations** - 5‑7+ years hands‑on experience with security infrastructure (firewalls, IDS/IPS, AV/anti‑malware, SIEM, MFA, biometrics). - Proven expertise in access control, endpoint security, vulnerability management, and cryptography. - Ability to analyze logs, determine root cause, and remediate security incidents. - Strong scripting/automation skills (Python, PowerShell) and capability to mentor junior staff. - Effective communication of technical risks to technical and non‑technical audiences, including senior leadership. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, deploy, and maintain security tools: WAF, Threat Intelligence Platform, SIEM, HSM, EDR, and vulnerability management solutions. - Monitor and respond to security alerts; prioritize incidents based on severity and business impact. - Serve as escalation point for security incidents and service requests; lead containment and remediation efforts. - Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and internal policies; develop and enforce security standards and procedures. - Interpret threat intelligence to create new detection use cases and defensive strategies. - Automate repetitive security tasks and develop custom tools using Python/PowerShell. - Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and mid‑level security team members. - Collaborate with DevOps, engineering, and product teams to embed security in design and deployment phases. - Manage change control for security rule updates, patches, and device configurations. - Produce and maintain audit documentation; lead security audit content creation. - Participate in security awareness programs and promote a security‑first culture. **Required Skills** - Core security technologies: firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus/anti‑malware, SIEM, MFA/biometrics, HSM. - Vulnerability management and patching processes. - Cryptography fundamentals. - Scripting/automation: Python, PowerShell (or comparable). - Log analysis and incident investigation. - Threat intelligence analysis and use‑case development. - Excellent verbal/written communication; ability to convey risk to diverse audiences. - Leadership/mentoring capabilities. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, GICSP, or equivalent.

**Job Title** Network Security Specialist – L1 **Role Summary** Provide L1 support for enterprise network and firewall operations, including deployment, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
