**Job Title**
Application Support Analyst (Intermediate)
**Role Summary**
Provide technical support, QA testing, and analytical services for regulatory reporting and trading applications in a high‑frequency, compliance‑driven environment. Coordinate incident management, change and release controls, and continuous improvement activities within an agile development team.
**Expectations**
- Resolve user support and incident requests within SLA requirements, ensuring regulatory reporting is delivered on schedule.
- Deliver accurate, actionable analysis and remediation plans for incidents and process gaps.
- Maintain up‑to‑date application documentation, runbooks, and knowledge bases.
- Participate actively in change management, release planning, and post‑deployment testing.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Support end‑to‑end operation of regulatory reporting and trading applications.
- Monitor application processes, infrastructure, and QA environments.
- Log, track, and document incidents and request fulfillment using ticketing tools.
- Conduct business and data analysis for stakeholders and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate regularly with business users and cross‑functional technical teams.
- Contribute to agile development cycles, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and code reviews.
- Execute quality assurance, regression, and post‑deployment tests.
- Develop and maintain application manuals, runbooks, and operational documentation.
- Manage production changes, QA environment updates, and major incident follow‑ups.
**Required Skills**
- Proficient in SQL (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and data querying.
- Strong command of Linux and Windows operating systems, Azure cloud services, and Hadoop ecosystem.
- Experience with ticketing/support systems and scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with job scheduling tools (Autosys or alternatives).
- Knowledge of development and deployment toolchains (Git, Jenkins, XL‑Deploy, etc.).
- Understanding of ITIL concepts, change management, and release management processes.
- Ability to structure and document knowledge; effective communication with business and technical teams.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.
