Job Description
Job Title: Sr. Research Associate – Bioanalytical Role Summary: Senior researcher executing in‑vitro, biochemical, and cell‑based assays to advance early‑stage therapeutic discovery. Expert in plate‑based platforms (ELISA, RT‑qPCR, MSD, luminescent/colorimetric assays) and RNA/protein analysis from animal tissues. Expectations: Deliver high‑quality, timely experimental data; maintain meticulous ELN records; support lab operations; collaborate across cross‑functional teams; adhere to safety and compliance protocols. Key Responsibilities: • Isolate RNA/protein and perform quantitative assays (qPCR, ELISA, MSD, Western blot). • Design, execute, and troubleshoot biochemical and cell‑based assays, including 96/384‑well formats. • Generate clear data summaries, presentations, and update electronic lab notebooks. • Maintain equipment, prepare reagents, and oversee routine lab maintenance. • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory guidelines. Required Skills: • Proficient in ELISA, RT‑qPCR, MSD, Western blot, and related assay platforms. • Experienced with animal tissue handling, aseptic technique, and sample preparation. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills. • Advanced Excel proficiency and expertise in GraphPad Prism; basic MS Office. • Detail‑oriented, adaptable, and collaborative in fast‑paced environments. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or related life science field. • Minimum 3 years laboratory experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical settings.
