Job Description
**Job Title** Electrical Manager **Role Summary** Assists the Senior Electrical Manager in leading electrical operations, maintaining NERS accreditations, and delivering high‑quality electrical projects up to 33 kV. Focuses on team development, compliance, and operational efficiency within a hands‑on environment. **Expectations** - Guide, support, and develop the electrical team. - Deliver projects on time, within budget, and compliant with DNO/iDNO standards. - Maintain accurate and audit‑ready documentation and processes. - Drive KPI management, resource planning, and cost control. - Foster strong relationships with developers, contractors, and utilities. - Champion a health & safety culture and embed safe working practices. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Supervise and mentor the electrical team, ensuring professional growth and performance. 2. Oversee end‑to‑end electrical project delivery, confirming adherence to industry standards and contractual requirements. 3. Manage and update all NERS and related accreditation documentation, ensuring audit readiness. 4. Analyze and report on project KPI metrics, driving continual improvement. 5. Plan resources, control project costs, and manage material procurement and usage. 6. Resolve operational issues proactively, minimizing downtime and cost overruns. 7. Build and maintain trusted relationships with external partners (developers, contractors, DNO/iDNOs). 8. Promote and enforce a positive health & safety culture across all activities. **Required Skills** - Proven expertise in electricity sector operations, specifically HV up to 33 kV. - Strong leadership and team management capabilities. - Ability to deliver projects within scope, time, and budget constraints. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all organisational levels. - Self‑directed, solutions‑focused approach with a collaborative mindset. - Strong analytical skills for KPI assessment and cost control. **Required Education & Certifications** - Industry‑recognised electrical qualifications. - Certifications: NRSWA, SMSTS, EUSR, CSCS, SAP or equivalent authorisations. *All information above is intended for concise, ATS‑friendly job matching.*
