Job Description

Job Title: Software Engineer Role Summary Develop, deploy, and maintain scalable data pipelines and APIs for logistics and telematics data integration, ensuring secure, real‑time processing and interoperability across third‑party platforms within cloud environments. Expectations - Deliver high‑quality, maintainable code on schedule. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define specifications and architecture. - Uphold coding, documentation, and CI/CD standards. - Continuously improve system performance, reliability, and security. Key Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for logistics and telematics datasets. - Develop secure Python and Go APIs to support internal and external system communication. - Integrate TSPs and TMSs into the ecosystem, ensuring data fidelity and interoperability. - Apply entity resolution techniques to unify records and detect duplicates. - Design extensible data models reflecting real‑world supply chain structures. - Orchestrate ETL/ELT workflows using Airflow, Prefect, or similar tools. - Deploy and manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes across cloud platforms. - Implement real‑time streaming pipelines using Kafka, Redpanda, or equivalent. - Write technical documentation, maintain Git workflows, and track tasks in Jira or Plane. - Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and DevOps activities. Required Skills - Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Go. - Experience building RESTful APIs with Python frameworks. - Hands‑on with orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster, Astronomer). - Strong data modeling for relational and semi‑structured schemas. - Version control with Git; issue tracking using Jira, Monday.com, or Plane. - Cloud‑agnostic and cloud‑specific database services. - Containerization with Docker; orchestration with Kubernetes. - Streaming platforms (Kafka, Solace, Redpanda). - Understanding of monolithic and service‑oriented architecture patterns. - Entity resolution and supply‑chain/telematics integration experience. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or related field. - Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as Software Engineer, Data Engineer, or comparable role.
