**Job Title:** Senior ESG Consultant
**Role Summary:**
Senior ESG Consultant responsible for leading and delivering ESG advisory projects for French and international clients. Drives the development and implementation of environmental, social, and governance strategies, ensuring high‑quality deliverables, client satisfaction, and the growth of junior staff within a fast‑growing ESG practice.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 3 + years of consulting experience in ESG, sustainability, or related fields.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate teams, and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to contribute to business development and methodological innovation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead delivery of ESG consulting missions: plan, coordinate project teams, monitor progress, and ensure quality of outputs.
- Manage daily client relationships, conduct progress meetings, and guarantee satisfaction throughout engagements.
- Conduct ESG issue identification and analysis (carbon, biodiversity, climate risk, regulatory compliance, stakeholder expectations, ESG performance).
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses (materiality assessments, sector benchmarks, ESG maturity diagnostics, sustainability reporting reviews).
- Develop actionable strategic and operational recommendations and ESG roadmaps for clients.
- Create and maintain ESG methodologies, market notes, regulatory watch, and knowledge assets (reports, presentations, articles).
- Support commercial development: draft proposals, assist in prospect outreach, and produce ESG content for marketing.
- Mentor and up‑skill junior consultants.
**Required Skills:**
- Project management and team leadership.
- ESG expertise (decarbonization, climate risk, biodiversity, sustainable finance, ESG reporting standards).
- Strong analytical abilities with experience in data‑driven ESG assessments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English; French language proficiency is a plus.
- Proficiency with ESG tools and data platforms, MS Office/Google Suite, and presentation software.
- Business development acumen and ability to prepare commercial proposals.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Master’s degree (Bac + 5) in engineering (general or sustainability‑focused), environmental science, sustainable finance, or related discipline.
- Additional ESG‑related certifications (e.g., GRI, SASB, CFA Institute ESG Investing, ISO 14001) are advantageous but not mandatory.
