Job Title: AI/ML Engineer
Role Summary:
Design, implement, and scale machine‑learning systems for government‑grade applications. Leverage large language models (LLMs), retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), and multi‑agent orchestration using LangGraph/LangChain. Deploy solutions securely on federal cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, GCP GovCloud, Azure IL5+, Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock). Build and maintain robust data pipelines, metadata catalogs, and secure APIs.
Expectations:
Deliver production‑grade AI systems that meet strict security, compliance, and scalability requirements. Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, security, and DevOps to ensure best‑practice delivery. Communicate technical decisions clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize AI/ML models focused on LLMs, RAG, and prompt engineering for production use.
- Develop and orchestrate multi-agent pipelines using LangGraph and LangChain.
- Deploy and manage services on secure cloud environments (GovCloud, IL5+, Vertex AI, Bedrock).
- Build end‑to‑end data pipelines, perform ETL, and maintain metadata catalogs/ontologies.
- Create and maintain REST APIs and SDK integrations for data/model interaction.
- Follow secure coding standards, implement CI/CD pipelines, and adhere to DevOps best practices.
- Document architectural decisions, model performance, and operational procedures.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in Python, including REST API and SDK integration.
- Experienced with production deployment of LLMs, RAG, and prompt engineering.
- Familiar with multi‑agent orchestration frameworks (LangGraph, LangChain).
- Deep knowledge of federal cloud AI services (AWS GovCloud, GCP GovCloud, Azure IL5+, Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock).
- Skilled in building data pipelines, ETL processes, metadata catalogs, and ontologies.
- Strong understanding of secure coding and modern DevOps (CI/CD).
- Excellent written and verbal communication for cross‑team collaboration and documentation.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS Certified Solutions Architect – GovCloud, Azure AI Engineer Associate, GCP Professional Data Engineer) are highly desirable.
