**Job Title:** Finance Business Partner **Role Summary:** Provide financial insights, analysis, and business partnering to guide strategic decisions across the organization. Drive performance management, forecasting, and cost optimisation while supporting key projects and business cases. **Expectations:** - Deliver accurate month‑end performance reports and variances to stakeholders. - Lead budgeting, forecasting, and planning activities aligned with the annual operating plan. - Produce and present concise monthly performance reviews and challenge budgets to senior management. - Offer financial expertise in business case development, investment appraisal, and scenario analysis. - Manage cash‑flow tracking for projects, ensuring commercial success. - Optimise resource allocation under a cost‑cap framework. - Maintain and enhance financial models to support ad‑hoc and strategic initiatives. - Communicate complex financial information clearly to non‑financial stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** - Review and comment on month‑end results in partnership with the Controllership team. - Lead forecasting and planning for assigned departments; secure stakeholder buy‑in. - Prepare monthly performance review presentations for senior management. - Develop business cases, including investment appraisal and scenario analysis, in collaboration with business partners. - Track project cashflows and recommend actions to drive commercial outcomes. - Allocate resources efficiently to comply with cost‑cap constraints. - Create, maintain, and refine key financial models for ad‑hoc projects and strategic initiatives. - Support the finance transformation journey with a proactive, can‑do attitude. **Required Skills:** - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and prioritisation abilities. - Effective verbal and written communication; ability to translate financial concepts to non‑financial audiences. - Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and financial modelling. - Knowledge of accounting principles (accruals, prepayments). - Experience in budgeting, forecasting, investment appraisal, and business partnering. - Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and take initiative. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Fully qualified accounting professional (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent). - At least 2 years of experience in finance business partnering or a comparable role. **Desirable (not mandatory):** - Experience with profit‑centre finance. - Accounting/Finance degree (2.1 or better). - Knowledge of Microsoft D365/Medius. - Exposure to cost‑cap environments (e.g., motorsport).
