**Job Title:** Full Stack Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end application features across frontend, backend, and database layers. Deliver robust, scalable solutions that integrate with legacy government and enterprise systems, while collaborating closely with leadership, deployment teams, and customers.
**Expectations:**
- Ship high‑quality, maintainable code that directly provides customer value.
- Communicate ideas, timelines, and risks clearly to stakeholders (founders, strategists, senior engineers).
- Own features end‑to‑end, ensuring reliability and timely delivery.
- Uphold engineering excellence by eliminating technical debt and applying best practices.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Build and refine user interfaces using modern JS frameworks (React, Svelte, Next.js).
- Develop backend services/APIs in TypeScript/JavaScript, designing secure, efficient endpoints.
- Model and evolve database schemas, primarily PostgreSQL, and ensure data integrity.
- Integrate with external legacy systems and complex ERP pipelines.
- Translate customer requirements into production‑ready features that drive revenue.
- Conduct code reviews, maintain rigorous testing, and author clear documentation.
- Mentor new engineers, oversee onboarding, and share knowledge across the team.
- Manage project timelines; hit commitments or communicate risks promptly.
- Participate in on‑site implementations and live support, often under high‑pressure deadlines.
**Required Skills:**
- Proven delivery of full‑stack projects (GitHub repo, live demo, or Loom video).
- Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and at least one frontend library (React, Svelte, Next.js).
- Strong SQL database experience, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Deep understanding of software engineering best practices: version control (Git), automated testing, code documentation, and continuous integration.
- Adaptability to fast-paced, high‑accountability environments with tight deadlines.
- Low ego, curiosity, intellectual honesty, and a collaborative mindset.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field **or** equivalent professional experience.
- No mandatory certifications, but relevant industry credentials (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Developer) are an advantage.
