Job Description
Job Title: Head of Commercial Role Summary: Lead commercial strategy and execution for key retailer accounts across Europe, driving sustainable, profitable revenue growth. Own KPI performance, develop and mentor a commercial team, and align cross‑functional partners to ensure operational excellence and strong retailer relationships. Expactations: Deliver consistent net sales growth, increase market share, and achieve forecast accuracy targets. Optimize promotional spend for maximum ROI, reduce P&L variances, and maintain strong pipeline of retailer opportunities. Foster a customer‑centric culture that positions the company as the preferred partner for retailers. Key Responsibilities - Define and implement retailer strategy for both brick‑and‑mortar and e‑commerce channels, aligned with category priorities. - Execute and continuously refine commercial plans, monitoring performance, and adjusting tactics to meet growth objectives. - Own core commercial KPIs: net sales, market share, forecasting accuracy, and ROI on promotional spend. - Build and sustain senior‑level relationships with key retailers; act as primary point of contact and trusted partner. - Lead, coach, and performance‑manage a small commercial team (2 direct reports), cultivating a high‑performing culture. - Coordinate with trade marketing, supply chain, finance, visual merchandising, marketing, and digital to ensure end‑to‑end alignment. - Report account and regional performance, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership with clarity and transparency. - Optimize trade spend and promotional budgets to positively influence P&L and enhance customer value. Required Skills - 8+ years commercial leadership in beauty or cosmetics sector. - Proven track record of delivering revenue and margin growth in a retail environment. - Strategic thinking with strong analytical and data‑driven decision‑making. - Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management. - Strong time‑management, organizational, and cross‑functional collaboration. - Ability to lead and develop high‑performing teams in a fast‑paced setting. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred). No mandatory certifications.
