Job Title: Software Engineering Summer Internship
Role Summary: Short‑term engineering role focused on developing scalable platforms, adding new features, and improving reliability for a high‑growth ad tech business. Interns will work alongside senior engineers on code development, testing, and production deployments.
Expectations: Deliver production‑grade code, participate actively in peer reviews, mentor‑level collaboration, and maintain clear technical documentation. Interns are expected to learn and apply best practices in software engineering, CI/CD, and data workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable services and APIs.
- Implement new features, fix bugs, and enhance system performance and reliability.
- Review code, pair‑program, and contribute to technical design discussions with senior staff.
- Write clean, testable production code following engineering best practices.
- Develop unit, integration, and contract tests; analyze test results to drive quality.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for data engineering and quality engineering workflows.
- Support and optimize ETL pipelines and data workflows for internal and customer‑facing systems.
- Analyze system metrics, logs, and performance data to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
- Produce and update technical documentation, internal tools, and automation scripts to improve developer efficiency.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, SQL.
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks, CI/CD concepts, and basic data pipeline operations.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to manage time effectively, and willingness to learn.

Required Education & Certifications:
